This 5 days short trek to Holy Glacial Lake of Gosaikunda is designed for those who has short period of time and want to feel alpine zone and experience Himalaya. Gosaikunda Lake (4380m) has great religious significance which is well-known as a pilgrimage site for Hindus who flock to the site in August during Janai Purnima. The first few days are spent ascending through the forests before you reach treeline at Cholang Pati from where you get your first glimpse of the towering Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal and Annapurna in the far distance. Rest for the night at the tea houses of Lauribinayek and then get up early the following morning to hike up to the lakes. Return the following days back to Dhunche and Kathmandu.

Outline Itinerary
Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Barkhu and trek to Thulo Syabru.
Day 2: Trek to Cholang pati (3600m).
Day 3: Trek to Gosaikunda (4380m) about 7 hour’s walk.
Day 4: Trek to down Dhunche (2100m).
Day 5: Drive to Kathmandu.

Religious Gosaikunda Lake is a famous for Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage and equally popular for tourists as well. Langtang National Park, Excellent views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himalayas Manaslu and Annapurna massif, Traditional tamang people and their culture, Trekking peaks to climb, real Yak Cheese taste, Abundant wildlife are the major highlights of this trek.
This  is also well known for its populations of red panda, Himalayan black bear, snow leopard, wild dog, ghoral, serow and more than 250 species of birds.
